Payments Refunds




Payment made for any Featured Ad is non-refundable. You may, at any time, delete your Feature Ad without any right to reimbursement for the amount paid.


If you have sold the product or service listed in any Featured Ad or if you choose to delete or deactivate any Featured Ad prior to the period for which it is active, we will not be liable to refund you for any unutilized time.


In the event, the Featured Ad is not posted on the Website on account of any technical reasons, on receipt of payment confirmation, credits equivalent to the amount paid by you shall be credited to your PostAd. These credits (“PostAd Credits”) may be used by you to purchase Featured Ads or any other value-added services for an equivalent or lesser amount on the Website. PostAd Credits are non-redeemable for cash, non-transferable, and non-assignable. However, the above refund policy shall not be applicable in the event any Paid Content is found to be violating the Terms.


For security reasons, PostAd may postpone the publication of any Featured Ad (either new or after being edited by you). In case a Featured Ad fails to meet the conditions required herein and/or in the Terms of Use, such Featured Ad may be disabled or deleted by PostAd South Africa without notice to you. Any Featured Ad which does not comply with these provisions or with our Terms of Use, or which somehow endangers the normal operations of the Services, or attempts to circumvent, disable, or interfere with any safety function of the Services, may be withdrawn, canceled or eliminated, without the right to any refund.


The Service and availability of Featured Ads are provided as advertised ("as is"), without any guarantees of results and to the maximum extent permitted by law. PostAd South Africa does not guarantee, represent, or assume any liability or responsibility for the display, sale, or non-sale of any goods or services published and promoted through a Featured Ad.


Billing: you can request an invoice for any purchased Featured Ad by sending an e-mail with the relevant information to [email protected]


How do I reverse a payment or get a refund?


Refunds will only be processed if a payment was made wrongfully, i.e you were charged more than once for the same feature.


What happens if my ad gets rejected?


If your ad gets rejected within 24 hours after you have posted your ad, you will automatically receive the feature option back. This means that you will be able to feature another ad in the same sub-category again.

Possible reasons why your refund may not be available?


We don't offer refunds in these cases:

  • You have not followed our Posting Rules
  • You have posted an item that is Prohibited on PostAd
  • Your account has been blocked for fraudulent activity or multiple accounts
  • Refunds typically take up to 1 week for us to process, but can take up to 2 weeks.


Why does PostAd only refund to the same payment card?


It is a condition of the card schemes (VISA, Mastercard) that all refunds must be processed onto the same card as the original payment was made in order to help reduce fraudulent activity on cards. PostAd must comply fully with all card scheme rules in order to be able to accept these card types.


How can I get my money back?


Please contact PostAd customer support. Please provide proof that the payment was done more than once for the same feature and keep the transaction ID ready.
